Job summary

Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Experienced Occupational Therapist (Paediatrics) to join the Dingley Child Development Centre on a fixed-term secondment until September 2027. Band 6 role delivering autonomous paediatric therapy for inpatients and outpatients aged 0–18, with complex neurological and developmental needs, providing assessment and treatment in a proactive MDT setting.

Qualifications

• Post graduate CPD and ongoing professional development.
• Understanding a broad range of paediatric conditions.
• Experience teaching and supervising staff and students.
• Evidence-based practice and audit experience.

Responsibilities

• Autonomously manage a complex caseload of paediatric inpatients and outpatients.
• Provide specialist assessments and therapeutic interventions.
• Work within the MDT and support the Paediatric Therapy Team Lead.
• Contribute to service planning and policy development.
• Deputise for senior Paediatric therapist as required.
