Job summary

Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust seeks an experienced Paediatric Occupational Therapist to autonomously manage a complex caseload of inpatient and outpatient children at the Dingley Child Development Centre and other Trust locations.

You will work within the MDT, provide specialist assessment and treatment, support policy development, and deputise for the Band 7 OT as required, contributing to a high quality paediatric therapy service.

Qualifications

• Autonomously manage a complex caseload of inpatient and outpatient paediatric patients with varying physical, developmental and neurological needs.
• Perform specialist assessment and provide evidence-based treatment.
• Work within the MDT alongside Band 7 OT and the Dingley Therapy Team Lead.

Responsibilities

• Autonomously manage a complex caseload of inpatients and outpatients aged 0–18 with diverse conditions.
• Provide specialist paediatric OT assessment and intervention.
• Support Therapy Management in planning and policy development for the Paediatric OT service.
• Deputise for the Paediatric Band 7 Occupational Therapist as required.
