Job summary

Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a dedicated Nursing Associate to join the Paediatric Ward at Wexham Park Hospital. You will deliver compassionate, patient‑centred care under supervision, supporting children and their families in a busy paediatric setting.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team, with a focus on safety, communication, and professional development, and you will participate in induction and ongoing training to progress your career in paediatric care.

Qualifications

• Experience of working in teams under appropriate supervision as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Ability to communicate effectively (written, verbal and non‑verbal) with patients/relatives and carers and all members of the multidisciplinary team.
• Understands and acts in line with NMC professional standards for practice contained within The Code.
• Understand requirements for NMC professional Revalidation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality, patient-centred, compassionate care under the direction of a Registered Nurse or other registered care professional.
• Work as part of a designated clinical and care team delivering care focused on the direct needs of the individual.
• Carry out specific clinical and care tasks to a high standard under supervision.
• Be able to work without direct supervision, and deliver care independently within the defined plan of care.
