Job summary

HRS Healthcare is seeking a Paediatric Nurse Manager (Kent) for a maternity-cover, six-month contract. You will manage a caseload of complex care clients, oversee care plans, and support staff induction to ensure high-quality care.

The role requires paediatric nursing with 3+ years post-registration, NMC PIN, community-based care experience (including complex needs like spinal or brain injuries, PEG, tracheostomy, ventilators), and participation in out-of-hours telephone support on a rotation.

Qualifications

• Paediatric Registered Nurse with NMC PIN and 3+ years post-registration experience.

• Willing to participate in telephone-based out-of-hours service on a rotational basis.
• Right to work in the UK and a clean UK driving licence.

Paediatric Nurse Manager (Kent) - 6 Mth Contract

We are actively recruiting for a Paediatric Nurse Manager for a maternity cover, starting asap till April 2027.

Are you a Paediatric Registered Nurse with some experience of workingout in the community along with experience of working clinically with complexcare clients?

You will be managing a caseload of complex care clients, building relationships with the clients and their families, overseeingcare plans, supporting the induction of new staff into the clients, andultimately ensuring the quality of care is delivered.

Requirements

About you

• You will be a Paediatric trained Registered Nurse and hold a valid NMC PIN with a minimum of three years’ post-registration experience.
• Experience of providing community-based care ideally complex care, such as spinal or brain injuries, PEG, tracheostomy care, ventilators.
• Able to participate in provision of the telephone based out of hours service on a rotational basis.
• You will have the right to work in the UK and hold a clean UK driving licence.

What’s on offer for the Paediatric Nurse Manager?

• The annual salary is £50,000 - this contract is for circa 6 months, starting asap till April 2027.
• 37.5 hours per week – Mon to Fri 9am – 5pm, although some flexibility may be required due to the nature of healthcare.
