Job summary

HFH Healthcare in Slough is seeking a compassionate Paediatric Complex Care Support Worker to provide dedicated 1:1 care for a 15-year-old at home with their family. You will support daily needs, promote wellbeing, and help the young person stay safe in a familiar environment.

We offer full training and ongoing support, 12-hour shifts (day and night), and enhanced rates for weekends and bank holidays. Prior care experience of at least 6 months is welcome as you join a supportive specialist team.

Qualifications

• Requires at least 6 months' care experience.
• Compassionate and reliable with patient demeanour.
• Willingness to learn PEG feeding and NIV therapies (beneficial).

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 paediatric care at home for a 15-year-old.

Salary: £12.50 - £16.00

Schedule: 12 hour shifts available (Days and Nights)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and caring Paediatric Complex Care Support Worker to provide dedicated support to a 15-year-old young person living at home with family

The individual is described as cheerful, sociable, and happiest when surrounded by family and loved ones. As part of a specialist care team, you will play a vital role in supporting their daily needs, promoting their wellbeing, and helping them remain safe and comfortable within their home environment.

Experience in the following is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided:

• PEG feeding
• Non-Invasive Ventilation (NIV)

What HFH offers?

• Typically, our client base requires ongoing care, 24 hours a day, and benefit from the continuity of a small core team of regular care staff.
• Our specialist carers work with one client per shift and do not travel between multiple homes. The average shift is duration 12hrs.
• Where possible we will offer you work to meet your availability and as a guide, the average carer works three shifts (36hrs) per week for us and earns £500 555 per week*.
• The regular working patterns that our clients require mean this three day a week work pattern equates to an average annual income of between £26,200 £28,950*.
• We employ all staff directly and manage all aspects of your pay via PAYE, rather than Limited Company or Self-employed status. This removes the need for you employ third party companies or calculate your own tax. PAYE also protects you from breaching IR35 tax regulations.

*Please note: This dependant of their shift pattern (days/nights/weekends) and these rates shown are inclusive of holiday pay which is accumulated per hour worked. INDM
