Job summary

The Bristol NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for Paediatric Staff Nurse in the Children’s Emergency Department. We are seeking experienced paediatric nurses (or adult nurses with paediatric experience) to join our team at the Bristol Royal Hospital for Children, part of a merged Bristol NHS Foundation Trust family.

Qualifications

• NMC registration (paediatric) and relevant nursing qualifications.
• Work towards post-basic study programmes related to teaching and assessing.
• Experience in paediatric nursing or adult nursing with paediatric exposure.

Responsibilities

• Education: bespoke learning package with clinical skills support and major trauma training.
• Research: involvement with department-based paediatric emergency research.
• Wellbeing: staff wellbeing weeks, check-ins and access to support services.
