We are seeking a Paediatric Clinical Trainer responsible for developing, delivering, and evaluating training programs to enhance the clinical skills of healthcare teams and professionals in paediatric care. This role requires expertise in paediatrics combined with the ability to educate and mentor in community-based settings. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to improving patient care through education and will collaborate closely with our clinical director to uphold high standards of paediatric practice.

Key Responsibilities

1. Support the design & deliver training: Develop and conduct educational sessions on paediatric care for non-clinical staff (carers, support workers, family members) to ensure safety and competency in delegated tasks.
2. Competency sign-off: Provide clinical competency sign-offs for all trained tasks required in the support package, enhancing practical skills in paediatrics.
3. Evaluation & feedback: Assess the effectiveness of training programs and provide constructive feedback to ensure optimal learning outcomes.
4. Stay updated: Keep abreast of the latest paediatric healthcare practices and incorporate new research and evidence-based guidelines into training programs.
5. Collaboration: Work closely with paediatric clinical teams to assess training needs and improve care delivery through education.
