Job summary

Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Specialist Dietitian to join our Paediatric Dietetics Team on a fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave until August 2027.

You will help develop and deliver a new paediatric allergy service, provide expert nutritional care in inpatient settings, and educate colleagues, healthcare professionals, patients and families as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Proactive and compassionate dietitian with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience delivering education and training to colleagues, patients and families.
• Capable of working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist paediatric dietetic care within inpatient settings.
• Develop and deliver a new paediatric allergy service.
• Lead education and training for staff, patients and carers.
• Work as part of the wider acute dietetic team to promote best practice.
