Job summary

Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Specialist Dietitian for paediatric allergy to cover maternity leave until August 2027. The post combines specialist clinical work with teaching colleagues, patients and families, while contributing to a new paediatric allergy service.

Applicants must be HCPC registered and have experience as a registered dietitian, with ability to work across inpatient wards and collaborate with the acute dietetic team.

Qualifications

• Qualified dietitian with a 4-year degree, post-graduate diploma or equivalent.
• Evidence of continuing professional development (CPD).
• Registration with the Health Professions Council (HCPC).
• Experience as a registered dietitian.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver a paediatric allergy service.
• Provide expert nutritional care across inpatient settings.
• Collaborate with the wider acute dietetic team.
• Deliver education and training to colleagues, healthcare professionals, patients and families.
