Job summary

Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Paediatric Specialist Dietitian (Gastro/Allergy) at 0.6 wte Band 7. You will join the paediatric dietetic team to provide expert nutrition support for children with gastroenterology and allergy needs, across inpatient and outpatient settings.

The role involves MDT working, leadership, teaching, and clinical supervision of junior staff, with a focus on service development and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Paediatric dietetics knowledge and clinical dietetic skills for children with gastroenterology conditions.
• Experience in allergy service delivery and MDT collaboration with paediatric teams.
• Ability to support complex dietetic care and home PN considerations for children.

Responsibilities

• Lead dietetic care for inpatients in the paediatric gastroenterology service.
• Provide outpatient dietetic support in specialist clinics including allergy.
• Supervise and mentor junior dietitians; contribute to service development.
• Attend MDT meetings and participate in governance and quality improvement.
