Job summary

Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a 0.6 WTE Band 7 Paediatric Dietetic Team Leader to cover gastroenterology and allergy services. The role combines clinical work with leadership and service development in the Children’s hospital, including inpatient and outpatient care and Home PN clinics.

You will supervise two Band 6 dietitians, lead MDT activities, and contribute to teaching, governance, and quality improvement within the service.

Qualifications

• Recognised degree in dietetics and HCPC registration in the UK.
• Membership of the British Dietetic Association (BDA) or a specialist group.
• Evidence of post-graduate learning (modules or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Lead gastroenterology and allergy paediatric dietetics as Band 7 Team Lead.
• Provide dietetic care for inpatients and outpatients in gastroenterology and allergy clinics.
• Support and supervise Band 6 dietitians; contribute to MDT meetings and teaching.
• Drive governance, patient safety and service development within the Paediatric Dietetics team.
