Job summary

Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a paediatric dietitian to work with a team of specialist paediatric dietitians across the Trust. The post holder will be based across Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital and Royal Hampshire County Hospital, providing a service to the paediatric ward, day unit and outpatient department.

Off-site clinics may be located at Alton Community Hospital, Andover War Memorial Hospital and GP surgeries.

Responsibilities

• Provide paediatric dietetics services across the Trust, covering paediatric ward, day unit and outpatient department.
• Support diabetes care as part of the paediatric nutrition team and contribute to care planning for children and young people.

Job description

The post holder will work alongside a team of specialist paediatric dietitians across the Trust. Theywill be based across both Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital and Royal Hampshire CountyHospital, providing a service to the paediatric ward, day unit and outpatient department. Off siteclinics may be located at Alton community Hospital, Andover War Memorial Hospital and GPsurgeries. You may be required to offer/attend home visits to our diabetes cohort.The post holder will have a varied clinical caseload of general paediatrics and diabetes.
