Job summary

East of England Community Health and Care NHS Trust (Cambridgeshire) is seeking a Paediatric Dietetic Assistant Practitioner to support a team of dietitians providing community nutrition services. The role involves assisting with the Family Food First programme across nurseries, preschools and Family Hub settings, and delivering nutrition education to families.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 4 or equivalent level of knowledge and experience.
• Higher national diploma (HND) or SVQ/NVQ level 5 or foundation degree in nutrition and/or healthcare, or level 5 healthcare apprentice.

Responsibilities

• To support the planning and delivery of the Family Food First programme in nurseries, preschools and Family Hub teams.
• To support the Paediatric Dietetic team in the provision of public health interventions to the wider community, including training packages and parent-focused workshops.
• Translate technical nutrition information for a variety of professionals, parents and children under 5 years.
• Create or manage databases to input and analyse data to evaluate progress on the programme.
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical records and plan your diary with senior support.
