Job summary

East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for a paediatric dietetic assistant based at Colchester General Hospital. The role supports the paediatric dietetic team in delivering interventions to babies, children and young people, across allergy, gastroenterology, diabetes, and other areas.

Qualifications

• Strong organisational ability and teamwork to support dietetic professionals.
• Experience providing administrative support in a healthcare or similar setting is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Answering telephone, email and My Chart queries.
• Redirecting appointment queries and creating/sending letters under the direction of a dietitian.
• Provide cover for adult dietetic assistant during leave.
• Support paediatric dietitians with education of staff and future AHPs.
• Assist in PYMS audits and other audits with feedback to the team.
• Maintain up-to-date patient databases and support remote group interventions.
