Job summary

City Health Care Partnership CIC is seeking a specialist Paediatric Dentist to provide advanced assessments and treatments for children with diverse and complex needs within the Community Dental Service. You will contribute to service development and governance while communicating sensitively with children, families and professional colleagues.

Applicants should be registered with the GDC and on the Specialist List for Paediatric Dentistry, with experience of neurodiverse or medically complex

Qualifications

• Registration with the General Dental Council and on the Specialist List for Paediatric Dentistry.
• Experience treating children with additional needs or complex medical histories.
• Confidence managing conscious sedation within competencies.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team.
• A commitment to ethical practice, learning and supporting others’ development.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist paediatric dental assessments and treatment for children with diverse and complex needs.
• Offer clinical advice and support to colleagues and contribute to service development.
• Lead and support clinical governance activity, including audits and quality improvement.
• Communicate clearly with children, families and professionals in sensitive situations.
• Ensure safe, high-quality clinical records and uphold professional standards at all times.
