Job summary

Libertatem Healthcare Group is seeking a Paediatric Complex Care Support Worker to assist a 5-year-old with cerebral palsy and other complex needs in Anglesey. You will build trust, support daily routines, and collaborate with her family and clinicians.

Role requires empathy, reliability, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Training is provided for specialized clinical tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Supports a 2:1 care ratio for a 5-year-old with complex needs.
• Proven experience in complex paediatric care preferred; training available for other needs.

Responsibilities

• Support daily and nightly routines and activities.
• Monitor condition and wellbeing, including overnight checks.
• Administer medications as prescribed and assist with hygiene/mobility.
• Provide emotional support and companionship; liaise with family and healthcare professionals.

Join Our Team as a Paediatric Complex Care Support Worker – Make a Real Difference!

Are you looking for a rewarding and engaging role in complex clinical care? We’re offering an exciting opportunity to join our new client with complex needs in Anglesey.

Shift type:Day shifts, sleeping nights & waking nights available

Hours-Full time or part time hours to be considered:
Days –7 days per week, 8am-8pm
Nights –7 nights per week, 8pm-8am, both waking and sleeping available.

About the Role

You’ll be supporting on a 2:1 basis with a 5-year-old girl who has complex needs including cerebral palsy, dystonia, epilepsy, visual impairment, jejunal feeding, suctioning and oxygen. We're looking for someone with previous experience in complex care with children and the ability to build a strong, supportive relationship through clear communication and empathy.

Our client lives at home with her family and enjoys sensory play and water, including hydrotherapy. Your role will be to support her physically and emotionally, helping her live life to the fullest.

What We’re Looking For

Due to the client's needs, we’re seeking a support workerwith:

• Complex clinical experience including Jejunal feeding and suctioning desirable, however training can be provided to up-skill for some clinical requirements if you are competent with others needs of the clients.
