Job summary

ExamWorks Group is seeking a Female Paediatric Complex Care Assistant to provide one-to-one care for a young child with complex healthcare needs in Slough. The role requires compassion, patience and professionalism, with day and night shifts available and no sponsorship provided.

Shifts include days 10:00–16:00 and nights 22:00–07:00, with a focus on safety, dignity and ongoing family support within the home.

Qualifications

• Experience with PEG feeding
• Ability to manage seizures and monitor health changes
• Strong safeguarding awareness
• Compassionate, patient and professional approach

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one care in the family home
• Manage PEG feeding equipment and feeding schedules
• Perform tracheostomy care if required (as per client needs)
• Support with daily living activities and personal care
• Monitor health, respond to seizures, and escalate as needed
• Collaborate with family and healthcare professionals
• Promote comfort, safety and wellbeing for the child
