Job summary

Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 6 Children’s Community Nurse in Slough. This full-time, permanent position involves delivering high-quality care to children in the community and supporting families to manage health needs outside hospital settings.

You will join a dedicated CCN team, with on-call and antisocial hours as required, and contribute to care planning, training, and early discharge when appropriate.

Qualifications

• Registered Sick Children’s Nurse (NMC Sub-1) is required.
• Mentorship/teaching course desirable.
• Working towards community nursing degree.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for nursing management and autonomous delivery of care to a caseload of children in the community.
• Act as the key health professional for children and young people and coordinate their care.
• Provide high-quality care to children and families in the community.
