Job summary

Birmingham Women's and Children's NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an enthusiastic Research Nurse to join the Paediatric Generic Research Nurse Team on maternity cover. You will support recruitment, data collection, and assessments across NIHR portfolio studies in a busy R&D environment, delivering high-quality care to children and young people.

The post requires sub part one of the children nursing register, strong communication and teamwork, and the ability to work flexibly.

Qualifications

• Experience in clinical research, audit and data collection.
• Knowledge of EU Clinical Trial Directive and Good Clinical Practice (GCP).
• Ability to communicate clearly with patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Support recruitment into research studies within the Trust.
• Administer assessments and collect data for studies.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive trial documentation.
• Support development of the department and raise the profile of trials.
