Job summary

Alder Hey Children’s NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Clinical Psychologist to join two paediatric psychology services in a split post based in Warrington. The role combines 0.7 WTE in the CYPGS and 0.3 WTE in the DSD service at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital, providing specialist assessment, formulation and intervention for children and young people with complex emotional and developmental needs.

• Doctoral level training in clinical psychology including models of psychopathology and neuropsychology.
• HCPC registration required.
• Experience in specialist psychological assessment and treatment of children, adolescents and families.

• Provide specialist psychological assessment, formulation and intervention for children and young people with complex needs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support families and contribute to service development.
• Provide consultation and training across systems.
