Job summary

Caremark Mansfield & Ashfield is seeking a Paediatric Clinical Lead to oversee complex paediatric care packages, provide clinical leadership, and drive governance across Mansfield, Ashfield, and surrounding areas.

You will mentor care teams, lead assessments and care planning, and ensure safe, high-quality, person-centred support in the home environment. This senior role offers development opportunities within a trusted nurse-led home care service.

Qualifications

Registered Paediatric Nurse with suitable paediatric experience and a valid NMC registration.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in paediatric care (e.g., tracheostomy, ventilation, spinal injuries, neurological conditions, acquired brain injuries)
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across Mansfield, Ashfield, and surrounding areas

Responsibilities

Lead and oversee complex paediatric care packages, including assessments, care planning, clinical reviews, and risk assessments
Provide clinical leadership through training and supervision, competency assessments, mentorship, and ongoing support for care teams
Strengthen clinical governance through medication audits, spot checks, investigations, and quality improvement initiatives
Work collaboratively with families, commissioners, and multidisciplinary professionals
Deliver specialist clinical training and provide emergency clinical support when required
