Job summary

Caremark Mansfield & Ashfield is seeking a Paediatric Clinical Lead – Nurse to oversee complex paediatric care packages across Mansfield, Ashfield and surrounding areas. You will lead clinical teams, shape care plans, and drive governance and continuous quality improvement in home-based paediatric care.

This senior role offers flexible working with core office hours, mileage reimbursement, and ongoing clinical training within a supportive leadership team.

Qualifications

• Registered Paediatric Nurse with valid NMC registration.
• Minimum 2 years’ paediatric care experience (e.g., tracheostomy, ventilation, neurological conditions).
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across Mansfield, Ashfield and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee complex paediatric care packages, including assessments, care planning, clinical reviews, and risk assessments.
• Provide clinical leadership through training and supervision, competency assessments, mentorship, and ongoing support for care teams.
• Strengthen clinical governance through medication audits, spot checks, investigations, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Work collaboratively with families, commissioners, and multidisciplinary professionals.
• Deliver specialist clinical training and provide emergency clinical support when required.
