Qualifications

• Registered Children’s Nurse with a valid NMC registration.
• Minimum two years’ experience managing complex care packages, including tracheostomy, ventilation, spinal injuries, neurological conditions, or acquired brain injuries.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across Bristol, Cheltenham and Swindon.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee complex paediatric care packages, including assessments, care planning, clinical reviews, and risk assessments.
• Provide clinical leadership through supervision, competency assessments, mentorship, and ongoing support for Registered Nurses and care teams.
• Drive clinical governance by completing medication audits, spot checks, investigations, and quality improvement initiatives to maintain the highest standards of care.
• Work collaboratively with families and multidisciplinary professionals while delivering specialist clinical training and providing emergency clinical support when required.

As a Paediatric Clinical Lead, you'll take ownership of a diverse clinical caseload, working autonomously while being supported by an experienced multidisciplinary team. This is a genuinely hybrid position, including one to two days working from home each week, alongside community-based responsibilities across the region. You'll help shape clinical excellence, mentor healthcare professionals, and drive continuous quality improvement, all within a provider committed to delivering outstanding community-based care.

Package & Benefits

• Salary of £48,000 to £50,000 per annum.
