Job summary

Komplex Group is seeking a Paediatric Healthcare Assistant in Sunderland to provide compassionate, client-centred care for a young patient with complex needs. You will work term-time only, 9am to 3pm, 30 hours per week, supporting daily living activities and coordinating with nurses and the broader care team.

The role requires a dedicated, reliable caregiver with relevant NVQ/QCF qualifications or demonstrable experience, and eligibility to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or 3 NVQ/QCF in health care is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide paediatric healthcare assistance to a client with complex needs.
• Support daily living activities and ensure the client’s safety and dignity.
• Collaborate with the care team to implement individualised care plans.

Position: Paediatric Healthcare Assistant

Location: Sunderland

Pay rate: £13.50 per hour

Shifts: Term Time only, 9am to 3pm, Monday to Friday (30 hours per week)

About the Role:
As a Paediatric Healthcare Assistant at Komplex Care, you’ll be providing care and support to a client, whose individual needs includes:

• Trisomy 21
• Previous VSD
• Trachea pharyngomalacia
• Suprastomal collapse of his airway
• Tracheostomy
