Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Band 5 Paediatric Audiologist for a fixed-term 9‑month post at Fulwood Clinic, Preston. You will work in a small, friendly multidisciplinary team delivering child-centred audiology care across Lancashire.
The role involves complex assessments, fitting NHS digital hearing aids, and contributing to developing high-quality paediatric services, with ongoing training and opportunities for professional development.

We are offering a fixed term Band 5 Paediatric Audiologist post within our expanding Paediatric Audiology Service. Our team specialises in a whole-child approach to audiological care, delivering services in community settings across a large geographical area of Lancashire. Our Consultant Audiovestibular Physician leads clinical work and contributes to national APD research, giving you opportunities to develop specialist clinical skills.
We are a small, friendly, but busy multidisciplinary team who fully embrace our Trust vision of Excellent Care with Compassion.
You will assist in the delivery of a high quality Paediatric Audiology Service aimed at maintaining national standards for clinical and professional excellence. The post holder will perform a broad range of complex and non-routine tasks to assist the diagnosis and habilitation of hearing and balance disorders in babies, children and young adults. You will be expected to work with indirect supervision and use your initiative at all times.
In addition to holding a BSc (Hons) in Audiology or an equivalent qualification and registration with an appropriate professional body (AHCS), you will have a minimum of one year's post-qualification experience working within an Audiology service. You will need to be an organised team player who cares about delivering a high-quality service, enjoys a varied role, is a great communicator, and brings plenty of energy.
