Job summary

The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King's Lynn NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Paediatric Staff Nurse to join the Paediatric Assessment Unit. You will work as part of a friendly multi-disciplinary team caring for children aged 0-16 years, with a focus on high quality, family-centred care.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with current NMC registration.
• Open to newly qualified nurses or adult nurses with paediatric experience.
• Experience in paediatrics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high standard of patient-centred nursing care.
• Assist in delivery of a family-centred, clinically effective service from admission to discharge.
• Act as a role model for other staff.
• Contribute to development of action plans, protocols and pathways for quality improvement.
• Use appraisal reviews to progress personal and professional knowledge and skills.
