Slazenger Padel Clubs is seeking a General Club Manager in Swindon to lead daily operations, drive commercial performance, and develop a high-performing team. You will ensure outstanding member experiences, maintain high health and safety standards, and manage budgets, events, and facilities to achieve financial targets.

The role requires strong leadership, customer service orientation, and the ability to translate performance data into improvement plans.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a leisure, fitness, hospitality, sports or membership-based business.
• Proven leadership and people management experience.
• Strong commercial awareness and financial understanding.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Experience delivering high levels of customer service.
• Ability to analyse performance data and implement improvement plans.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day club operations and ensure safety, efficiency, and profitability.
• Drive membership growth, retention, and ancillary revenue opportunities.
• Develop and coach the team; conduct performance reviews and training.
• Deliver outstanding member experience and handle escalated issues.
• Manage health, safety, and compliance and oversee risk assessments.
• Plan and run coaching, social, and competitive events; maximize participation.
• Control budgets, payroll, stock, and financial reporting; ensure cash procedures.
