Job summary

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse/Operating Department Practitioner on the appropriate part of the NMC/HCPC register.
• Experience in a post-anaesthetic environment (Band 5) with progression to Band 6.
• Demonstrated leadership and coordination within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Support the Clinical Leader in providing leadership and effective management and coordination of patient activity, staffing and utilisation throughout the patient’s operative pathway.
• Promote a patient-centred approach to high quality health care while upholding Trust values.
• Act as a resource to support the team and perform risk assessments as required.
