Job summary

Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Practice, Development & Education Facilitator to blend hands-on clinical practice with education and leadership across the Main Theatres and PACU. You will coordinate induction, preceptorship, and ongoing development, delivering teaching with partner HEIs to strengthen patient care and safety.

• Managerial aptitude and knowledge of hospital policy and procedure.
• High level of clinical skill in the theatre/PACU environment.
• Outstanding communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the PACU Clinical Leader in leadership and management of patient activity across the operative pathway.
• Coordinate induction, preceptorship, and training programmes for theatre and PACU staff and learners.
• Deliver high-quality teaching and support competency-based training with Higher Education Institutions.
• Drive quality improvement, audits and governance initiatives to enhance patient safety and service standards.
• Provide visible leadership and support workforce planning, recruitment and staff development.
