Qualifications

Job description

As a Packing Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the packaging and release of our world‑class products. Your key responsibilities will include:

Responsibilities and Qualifications
  • Packing products of a high standard and releasing them according to specific timeframes
  • Performing routine quality checks on the product as part of the compounding process
  • Carefully examining batch numbers and addressing any issues that arise
  • Following standard operating procedures to maintain consistency and quality
  • Providing coverage for operators during periods of sickness or leave
  • Occasionally working in a cleanroom environment to maintain strict cleanliness standards
  • Understanding that the products are patient‑specific and must meet a high level of quality at all times
  • Performing and recording all cleaning for the equipment and work areas as required
  • Notifying Team leaders/Supervisors/Managers/Quality Assurance of any deviations from the process
  • The ability to communicate and work optimally with a cross‑functional team
  • Strong work ethic and flexibility to meet the needs of the business
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively with team members
  • Excellent attention to detail, especially when checking batch numbers and measurements
  • Willingness to work in a cleanroom environment, following the full gowning procedure
  • Strong mathematical and English language skills

Our compounding department is currently searching for a Packing Technician to join their fast‑paced team on a 9‑month FTC. You will be responsible for supporting the compounding operation which manufactures aseptically compounded products such as chemotherapy, antibiotics and total parenteral nutrition. This role is Monday‑Friday 06:00‑14:00 offering a competitive salary and a weekly shift allowance of £21.80.
