Job Introduction
As a Packing Team Member at Charlie Bigham's, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our delicious meals are packed with care and precision. You'll work in a fast-paced environment, focusing on quality and efficiency to meet production targets. Responsibilities include accurately packaging meals, checking product quality, and adhering to health and safety standards. Our Packing Monday to Friday is full time hours (40).

Role Responsibilities

• Using specialty equipment to identify and remove dishes that don’t meet Bigham standards
• Carefully measuring and adding toppings to finish dishes
• Refilling packing machines with cardboard sleeves or boxes
• Accurately stacking boxed dishes onto pallets and moving filled pallets into logistics
• Maintaining high hygiene levels and a tidy workspace
• Keeping food preparation records and logs
• Carrying out effective and accurate shift handovers
• Flagging equipment issues within your area
• Working as part of a fast-paced team to complete the daily plan

The Ideal Candidate

What You’ll Need

• Ability to operate packing and quality check machinery; computer literacy is important. Previous machinist experience is desirable but not essential
• High attention to detail and quality focus
• Ability to lift 20kg boxes repetitively
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to learn new packing equipment
• Positive attitude
• Desire to develop skills and work as part of a team
