Job summary

SeeMe Hired Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking a capable Packing Team Leader to manage the daily packing team, plan rotas, ensure stock levels and timely labeling of products, and keep machinery well maintained. You will monitor quality, report shortages or overproduction, and ensure compliance with food safety, health, licensing and fire safety regulations.

You will receive deliveries, rotate stock, record waste, maintain cleanliness, and stay informed about menus, supplies and policy

Qualifications

• Experience supervising a packing team.
• Ability to plan and adjust rotas.
• Strong attention to stock levels and labeling accuracy.
• Knowledge of food safety and workplace regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage your daily packing team to collaboratively complete all shift duties
• Help plan and organise team rotas to ensure packing duties are completed at all times
• Ensure stock and orders of packing materials are at the right level.
• Follow opening, closing and shift duties and checklists as directed
• Report shortages (or over production) as soon as possible
• Pack and label products in a timely and accurate manner at all times
• Make sure packing machinery and equipment is well maintained
• Report any quality issues immediately to your manager / manager on duty
• Report any maintenance issues to your manager / manager on duty
• Receive and store deliveries, rotate stock, checking invoices and packing notes
• Maintain cleanliness across all areas during set up, close down and during service
• Monitor freshness and ensure correct use and adherence to "use-by dates"
• Accurately record and dispose of wasted product at the end of each day
• Adhere to all food safety, health, licensing, and fire safety regulations.
• Stay informed on menu and marketing changes, supplies, and policy changes
• 1200 - 2000 Monday to Friday with occasional Sunday work
• Need to be able to drive EX6 7UL
