Job summary

Gripple Ltd is seeking packing operators to join the operations team at our Riverside Works site in Sheffield. This role involves operating packaging equipment to maintain product quality, with the ability to work both in a team and independently.

You will handle bagging, boxing and palletising, while prioritising orders in a fast-paced environment and performing basic fault finding to improve machine efficiency. A positive, can-do attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• Numeracy skills and an ability to communicate clearly in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Operate packaging equipment to high standards and ensure product quality.
• Bag, box and palletise goods.
• Prioritise customer orders to meet demand in a fast-paced environment.
• Perform basic fault finding to identify machinery issues.
• Undertake asset care as part of daily duties.
• Maintain and drive forward 5S standards.
• Use IT systems (E8 / Microsoft Dynamics 365) to update works orders and perform quality checks.
• Complete documentation for traceability and invoicing.
