Warehouse/Packer Operator

Kinetic Recruitment is seeking to hire a Warehouse/Packer Operator with immediate start for a leading manufacturing company based in Widnes.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm. Flexibility required due to business needs to follow shifts. Compensation is £14.68 plus shift allowance.

The Role

The role involves controlling all warehouse, packing, and blending operations safely and efficiently, and packing and blending products according to business requirements while complying with Quality Assurance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate packaging, blending, and tanker loading equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform warehousing duties including loading and unloading vehicles.
• Proactively control packaging, blending, and tanker loading equipment.
• Conduct in-process checks to ensure product conformance.
• Record data accurately in both digital and manual logs.
• Use scan guns for operational duties to ensure data accuracy.
• Assist with stock checks in the warehouse.
• Be flexible in using skills across different plant operations.
• Coordinate with tradesmen, QC, Process Technologists, and logistics teams.
• Undertake tasks outside main skill areas under TEST principles.

Requirements

• Valid external FLT counterbalance license.
• Good communication skills.
• Excellent packing and warehouse operation skills.
• Ability to work accurately following site policies, practices, and legislative requirements.
• Proactive in controlling process plants within responsibility areas.
• Flexible approach with the ability to perform under pressure.
