Job summary

Adecco in Perth is recruiting for Packing Operatives to join a busy manufacturing team on a long-term temporary basis with potential for permanent placement. The role offers a double day shift, full training, and a supportive environment to develop production and technical skills.

£14.08 per hour, with overtime opportunities and a path to permanent prospects for the right candidates. This is an on-site role in Perth, offering stability and a chance to grow within manufacturing.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Pack products accurately into boxes and tubing to specification.
• Select correct packaging materials by following SOPs.
• Print and check labels before dispatch.
• Read and follow work instructions and production documentation.
• Check products and packaging to meet quality standards.
• Prioritise workloads and complete orders on time.
• Record production information accurately.
• Update computer systems where required.
• Identify and report issues or discrepancies.
• Keep workstation clean, safe and organized.
• Work efficiently to achieve production targets and deadlines.
• Support colleagues across the department when required.
• Follow all health and safety procedures.

We're recruiting Packing Operatives to join a busy and growing manufacturing team in Perth.

What You'll Be Doing

• Packing products accurately into boxes and tubing to specification
• Selecting the correct packaging materials by following Standard Operating Procedures
• Printing and checking labels before products are prepared for dispatch
• Reading and following work instructions and production documentation
• Checking products and packaging carefully to ensure quality standards are met
• Prioritising workloads and completing orders within required timescales
• Recording production information accurately
• Updating computer systems where required
• Identifying and reporting any issues or discrepancies
• Keeping your workstation clean, safe and organised
• Working efficiently to achieve production targets and deadlines
• Supporting colleagues across the department when required
• Following all health and safety procedures

• Previous experience within manufacturing, production, packing or a warehouse environment

No Manufacturing Experience?

Previous manufacturing, production or warehouse experience would be beneficial, but don't let a lack of direct packing experience put you off.

Full training will be provided, so if you have transferable experience, a strong work ethic and the right attitude to learn, we'd still be keen to hear from you.
