JDR Recruitment is recruiting Packing Inspectors for a large manufacturing site in Bridgwater. Immediate start with temp-to-perm opportunities and weekly pay. You will pack, label and stack, while ensuring quality and completing QA paperwork.

Shifts include Monday–Friday 2pm–10pm or a 6‑shift rotating pattern. Fixed night options possible. Training provided; free parking and a friendly environment.

Qualificações

• Background in manufacturing or warehouse environments.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work in a team and follow procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Stacking products and labeling as required.
• Packing finished product to specification.
• Visually inspect products for quality compliance.
• Report defects to the Shift Manager or Setter.
• Ensure QA documentation is completed and tidy.

We are looking for Packing Inspectors

Shift pattern: Either Monday to Friday 2pm to 10pm or 3 shift rotating which will be week 1 - 6am-2pm week 2 - 2pm - 10pm week 3 - 10pm-6am or fixed nights Monday - Friday 10pm-6am

Pay: £13.51 an hour for fixed afternoon, £14.02 for rotating, £14.52 for fixed nights

The role:

As a Packing Inspector you will be working within a manufacturing environment and your duties will be as follows:

• Complying with the employee's duties within the Health & Safety policy.
• Stacking products
• Labelling products
• Packing finished product to specification on a range of forming machinery.
• Visually inspecting the finished product to ensure that quality requirements are maintained in accordance with the relevant work order requirements and/or visual aids.
• Reporting any product defects to the Setter or Shift Manager.
• To ensure all relevant QA documentation is correctly completed.
• Maintaining a clean and tidy workplace.

About you:

• Available to start soon and are looking for long term work
• Previous background within manufacturing or warehouse
• Ability to work within a team
• Strong work ethic and professional approach
• High level of attention to detail
• Able to work either 3 rotating shifts or able to work on PM or Nights only
