Job summary

The Best Connection is recruiting for Packers at our Corby manufacturing client. This is a full-time, 42-hour per week role with overtime potential and weekly PAYE pay.

You will pack finished products, maintain records, inspect quality, and help keep the work area hygienic and compliant with company policies. Training and teamwork are encouraged to support business needs and personal development. This is a long-term opportunity in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in packing or production is beneficial but not required.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Reliable, hardworking and able to work as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and willingness to undertake training.

Responsibilities

• Pack finished products to required packaging and labelling standards.
• Maintain accurate production records using the company system.
• Carry out product inspections and report issues promptly.
• Maintain hygiene and housekeeping in the work area.
• Follow company policies and working practices.
• Participate in training and support business needs.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues across the business.
• Carry out other duties as requested by the Shift Leader.

The Best Connection are currently recruiting for Packers on behalf of our well-established manufacturing client based in Corby. This is an excellent opportunity offering consistent full-time hours and long-term work within a fast-paced production environment.

About the Role

Packer - Main duties and responsibilities include:

• Maintaining accurate production records using the company's computer-based recording system
• Packing finished products to the required packaging and labelling standards, ensuring only quality products are dispatched
• Carrying out product inspections, maintaining inspection records and reporting any issues promptly to the relevant team members
• Maintaining high standards of hygiene and housekeeping within the work area
• Following all company policies, procedures and working practices
• Undertaking any training required to support business needs and personal development
• Communicating effectively and working collaboratively with colleagues across the business
• Carrying out any other reasonable duties as requested by the Shift Leader

Working Hours

• 42 hours per week
• Full-time hours
• Overtime may be available depending on business requirements

Pay

• £12.90 per hour
• Weekly PAYE pay
