Job summary

Adecco Group UK & Ireland in Kendal is currently recruiting temporary Packers to join their team for up to 8 weeks with immediate starts. A driving licence is essential due to the hours.

You will pack finished products, work on a production machine during 12‑hour shifts, monitor machinery to ensure it is operating efficiently, and report any issues to help maintain a smooth production process. Shifts are 6:00–18:00 or 18:00–06:00, with Monday to Friday pattern and no weekend work.

Temporary Packers Required - Kendal Area

Our client, based on the outskirts of Kendal, is currently recruiting Packers to join their team on a temporary basis for up to 8 weeks.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a well-established local employer, with immediate starts available.

A Driving Licence is essential for this role due to the hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Packing finished products
• Working on a production machine during 12‑hour shifts
• Monitoring machinery to ensure it is operating efficiently
• Reporting any issues and helping to maintain a smooth production processShift Pattern:

Shift Pattern:

• Days: 6:00am to 6:00pm - £13.50 per hour
• Nights: 6:00pm to 6:00am - £14.28 per hour
• Monday to Friday
• Working on either the Red Shift or Green Shift
• No weekend work
