pladis Foods Limited is looking for a dedicated Packer to join our Carlisle site. You will manually pack biscuits to specification, perform visual checks, and help maintain quality and safety standards on a busy production line. A positive attitude and teamwork are essential as you support supervisors and participate in improvements.

The role runs Monday to Friday from 6am to 10am at 54 Church Street, Carlisle. Attractive benefits and a supportive factory environment are offered.

Qualifications

• Basic numerical and literacy knowledge.
• Manual dexterity essential for packing tasks.
• Basic communication skills.
• Excellent team working skills.
• Previous knowledge of manufacturing environment helpful.

And also need to be proactive with a positive attitude and committed to keeping high production standards while working as part of a busy teamWhat will be your key deliverables?Manually pack products within specifications (includes bending, lifting, stretching)Visually check for foreign matter / hazardsEnsure quality of biscuits being packed is within product specificationsEnsure adherence to all quality and safety standards.Work to a high standard, enabling plants to achieve planned output. Report any problems to Packing SupervisorEnsure housekeeping and hygiene standards are maintained.Support the Supervisors in the introduction and support of any improvement initiatives.
