The ideal candidate will have experience in packaging development within the FMCG sector and possess both technical expertise and creative problem-solving skills. Responsibilities include overseeing packaging innovations and collaborating closely with multiple stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience in packaging development within beauty or FMCG.
• Strong technical understanding of bottles, glass, closures, pumps and refill systems.
• A creative, curious mindset with the confidence to influence stakeholders.
• A structured, detail-focused approach to testing, data, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Proactively explore new packaging formats, materials and technologies.
• Develop concepts, prototypes and briefs that balance creativity with commercial reality.
• Drive technical development of primary, secondary and tertiary packaging.
• Lead packaging testing and validation for compatibility, transit, and shelf-life.
• Support scale-up, line trials, and continuous improvement on lines.
• Collaborate with Product, Brand, Manufacturing, Procurement and Supply Chain.
• Analyse packaging failures and complaints to identify improvements.
• Champion sustainable packaging solutions.
