Job summary

Valeo Foods UK is seeking a Packaging Technologist to join our Leeds team. You will manage packaging development for Matthew Walker and Rowse Honey brands, guiding projects from concept through to launch while ensuring customer, technical, legislative, and sustainability requirements are met.

Ideal candidates will have FMCG packaging experience, strong knowledge of materials and printing technologies, and the ability to collaborate with internal teams to deliver innovative packaging solutions on

Qualifications

• Proven packaging development experience in FMCG/food manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of packaging materials and printing technologies.
• Familiar with packaging legislation and environmental considerations.
• Experience working with major UK retailers.
• Excellent project management and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage packaging development projects from concept to launch.
• Define timelines with cross-functional teams and ensure on‑time delivery.
• Provide technical packaging support to brands and customers.
• Conduct trials to validate packaging performance and compliance.
• Maintain packaging specifications and assist with audits.
• Identify value optimisation and sustainability improvements.
