Job summary

Potter & Moore Innovations is seeking a Packaging Technologist to design, develop and implement packaging that protects products, delights customers, and supports sustainability goals. The role involves cross-functional collaboration with procurement, operations, quality, suppliers, and commercial teams to deliver packaging excellence.

You will manage projects from concept to launch, conduct trials and testing, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement across packaging

Qualifications

• Experience in a Packaging Technologist, Packaging Development or similar technical role.
• Knowledge of corrugate, plastics, films, cartons and sustainable alternatives.
• Understanding packaging testing methodologies and regulatory requirements.
• Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.

Candidate Description

• Experience in a Packaging Technologist, Packaging Development, or similar technical role.
• Knowledge of packaging materials including corrugate, plastics, films, cartons, and sustainable alternatives.
• Understanding of packaging testing methodologies and regulatory requirements.
• Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience within FMCG, personnel care, food manufacturing, consumer goods, or a related industry is advantageous.
• Degree or qualification in Packaging Technology, Food Science, Engineering, or a related discipline preferred.
