Job summary

The Sterling Choice is seeking a hands-on Packaging Technologist to drive packaging development from concept through to launch at our manufacturing site. You will collaborate with NPD, QA, Operations, suppliers and design agencies to ensure packaging is production-ready and compliant.

You’ll lead packaging trials, manage artwork coordination with design agencies, and troubleshoot issues with QA and Operations, while seeking cost-saving opportunities and monitoring new materials and trends.

• Understanding of packaging materials, films and production processes.
• Ability to work across multiple functions and manage projects.

Packaging Technologist – Food Manufacturing

Packaging looks simple when it’s sitting on a supermarket shelf. Getting it there is another story.

This is a hands-on Packaging Technologist role where you’ll be involved from concept through to launch — developing packaging, running trials, solving issues on site and making sure everything works properly in production.

You won’t just be managing specifications from behind a desk. You’ll be working closely with NPD, QA, Operations, suppliers and design agencies to get packaging right.
