Job summary

Diageo's Guinness packaging operations in Runcorn are seeking a Production Operator to help run canning, bottling and kegging lines. You will work a 42-hour week on a continental day/night shift pattern, supporting autonomous maintenance, quality checks and efficient changeovers to keep lines running smoothly.

You will join a diverse team and contribute to health and safety standards, share best practices, and pursue opportunities to improve manufacturing excellence.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work within a team and adapt to fast-paced manufacturing.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills across all levels.
• Aim to support Team Leaders and potentially become Team Leader in future.

Responsibilities

• Performing operational tasks, support continuous improvement, and apply autonomous maintenance and quality skills.
• Operating scanning line machinery following standard operating procedures.
• Reduce setup times and perform autonomous maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, inspecting, lubricating, and resolving issues.
• Conducting effective shift handovers.
