Graphic Packaging International (UK) is seeking a Production Assistant to support the final stages of packaging production. You will feed blanks into machines, assist with packing, and help operate the line while adhering to safety and quality standards.

You will follow detailed instructions, stay vigilant for quality issues, and maintain a clean work area. The role includes day/night shifts on a 36-hour weekly rotation with training provided.

Qualifications

• Ability to work under strict deadlines and targets.
• Quality and safety conscious.
• Punctual, presentable and with good attendance.

Responsabilités

• Feed blanks into the machine in the correct manner.
• Carry out duties involved in the packing machine including feeding outers with relevant labels.
• Assist the machine minder in setting of the feeder and inverter.
• Gain knowledge of quality issues, including recognizing print and crease issues and correct terminology.
• Keep the machine and feed area clean and tidy, including sweeping and cleaning under lifting tables.
• Understand and complete relevant paperwork for each job.
• Help run the machine to optimum speed while staying vigilant.
• Support in other areas of production to ensure business continuity.
• Adhere to the company hygiene policy at all times.
