Job summary

Cranswick PLC is seeking a Line Leader to oversee the packaging process on our Prepared Poultry site, ensuring smooth operation of the line and accurate labeling. You will motivate and train team members, enforce safety and hygiene standards, and maintain quality with HACCP protocols.

Experience in food manufacturing and supervisory roles is advantageous; a fast-paced production environment and target achievement are key. Training may be required to perform duties effectively.

Qualifications

• Experience in food manufacturing recommended.
• Experience in supervisory roles advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, HACCP and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate the production line and load stock.
• Form cartons, palletise and label products.
• Motivate team to meet production deadlines and goals.
• Train new workers on their station in the assembly line.
• Ensure safety compliance and hygiene standards are followed.
• Adhere to HACCP and quality protocols; monitor progress and outcomes.
• Monitor pack-out components and replenish as needed for steady flow.
• Verify proper labels and job requirements.
• Inspect pack-out to ensure quality standards.
• Complete paperwork/documentation for each lot.
• Monitor production progress and track it.
