Job summary

Moderna seeks a Packaging Engineer to lead the new labeling and secondary packaging operation at the Harwell site, coordinating across engineering, manufacturing and global teams. You will deliver compliant, reliable packaging and establish maintenance excellence as the operation scales.

Applicants should have a degree in Packaging/Mechanical/Automation and 8+ years in packaging engineering, with GMP experience and strong regulatory knowledge. Hybrid work arrangements may apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Packaging, Mechanical or Automation Engineering.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience as a Packaging Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of labeling and secondary packaging equipment at the Harwell site.
• Provide engineering input into URS, design specs, process parameters and FMEA.
• Manage capital projects from conceptual design through commissioning, qualification and validation.
