Job summary

Well established Consumer Brand in Birmingham is seeking a creative Packaging Designer to develop packaging concepts and deliver print-ready artwork for a broad range of products. The role combines creative concept generation with technical packaging design and offers exposure to multiple product categories.

You will work closely with the Lead Designer and product development team to ensure art files meet printer specifications, stay on schedule, and maintain high accuracy across all packaging

Qualifications

• Experience in packaging design, preferably in FMCG/retail.
• Strong Adobe Creative Suite skills (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) and experience preparing artwork for print.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative with cross-functional teams including technical, product development and marketing.

Responsibilities

• Develop creative packaging concepts for new product launches.
• Create and amend packaging artwork to print-ready standards.
• Produce artwork using cutter guides and print specifications.
• Layout back-of-pack information and implement technical updates.
• Collaborate with technical, product development and marketing teams.
• Support photoshoots through creative art direction when required.
• Design additional assets across the business when needed.
