Job summary

Arthur Edward is seeking a Senior Packaging Design Engineer to lead the transformation of creative ideas into technically sound, manufacturable packaging for beauty, cosmetics and FMCG products. The role focuses on DfMA and high-volume production readiness within a fast-paced, design-led environment.

You will drive robust packaging solutions, work across plastic, metal and glass, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet tight deadlines and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Product or Packaging Engineering.
• Extensive experience in packaging or product engineering environments.
• Strong understanding of liquid packaging systems and assemblies.
• Cross material expertise in plastic, metal & glass.
• Experience working with high-volume manufacturing and quality validation.

Responsibilities

• Engineer structurally robust packaging solutions for liquid-based FMCG products.
• Design for mass manufacture across plastic, metal and glass components.
• Translate creative intent into validated, production-ready designs.
• Apply DfMA, FMEA and tolerance stack-up analysis to optimise performance.
• Prepare and validate technical drawings for tooling, costing and production.
• Support tooling qualification, sampling, testing and FAIR reviews.
• Collaborate closely with design, engineering and project teams.
• Maintain exceptional attention to detail under demanding timelines.
