Job summary

GBD FedEx Express UK Transportation Limited is seeking a part-time Handler to support our overnight operations in Poole. The role involves loading and unloading vehicles, sorting and moving packages, and using scan and load methods to ensure accuracy and safety.

You will work 30 hours per week, on a Tuesday to Saturday shift from 03:00 to 09:00, with hourly pay of £13.29 plus premia for hours between 7pm–10pm and 10pm–6am.

Position Summary:

Hours: 30 per week.

Shift: AM Tuesday to Saturday 03:00am - 09:00am

Salary : £13.29 per hour. Premia paid for hours worked between 7pm - 10pm, and 10pm - 6am.

Our Handlers ensure that customers’ urgent packages get to the right place, on time.

The role involves loading and unloading of company vehicles, sorting and moving packages / freight using effective scan and load methods complying with Health and Safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

You will use machinery and technology where it is appropriate and provide support to supervisor and team members as required.
